I knew Father Derek Watson at school many years ago at Henry Smith Grammar School in Hartlepool.
Just a quick "hello and very best wishes to you Derek"
I am now Headteacher of a Catholic Primary School in Dorset.

Thank you Rev. Derek Watson for all your help locating Garry's baptism certificate. I understand it was a difficult and time consuming task and we couldn't be more thankful for all your help and dedication. You were ever so kind and we wouldn't have succeed if it wasn't for your perseverance and kindness.Godbless.

I recently came upon my certificate of Baptism, dated 5th December 1976 and wanted to learn a little more about the church within which I was christened. I was delighted to find this website and subsequent pictures of St Martin of Tours. Peace and Love.

What a pleasant surprise to come across your website. I attended St Martins as a teenager and was Confirmed there on 29-10-1961. I still have the photo that was taken and the Prayer Book I was presented with on the day I got Confirmed. I have wonderful memories of St Martins Youth Club, Father Howe was the Minister and there was also the most lovely Nun, her mame was Sister Mary.
I have lived in Australia for over 40 years yet my memories of St Martins, though often a bit dimmed over the passing of time, are of lots of love and laughter, the forming of my Spirituality and of friendships, some that have continued to this day.
Wishing you all and abundance of God's Blessings.

We had our Son Isaac christened on Sunday 22 April and I'd like to thank Derek and Trevor for a lovely service. My guests commented on how welcoming the church was especially for children and we were really pleased with the service. Thanks again for making Isaac's day so special.

It is good to see the website is being kept fresh and up to date. Well done. I use it at least twice a month to keep abreast of what is happening.

We had our son baptised on Sunday 23rd April. We had the most special service, everyone who attended the church commented on how lovely it was, how lovely the people of the church were, everyone had a fantastic day. Thankyou so so much for making Aaron Johns day so memorable, especially a special thanks to Trevor.

My son Aaron John Laws will be getting baptised at St Martins on 23rd April 2006. I would just like to take this opportunity prior to his special day to thank Trevor and friends at St Martins for their help and support (and giving us food for thought!) prior to Aarons very special day. Thankyou all Tracy Relph & Martin Laws

Glad to see the Church so active and looking as well as it did when first built. Before service abroad and emigration to Canada I was first at barker Rd., St. Wilfrid's and at the new church, chorister, server, SS teacher, asst organist and CEMS treasurer. So glad you have a website and nostalgia has overcome me to see the photos.
