Dear Friends,
Today I am launching the first of St Martins 'SMARTEN UP' campaigns that will hopefully see the church?s windows repaired.

Over a period of time the stained glass windows of the church have been vandalised and damaged and nothing has been done about the holed and cracked glass.
This not only adds to the overall look that the church has from the outside, that it is not being used, but also makes it harder to keep heat inside.
So it is my intention, with the backing of the PCC to put right what has been broken.

A local firm has visited the church and assessed the damage and found that 53 panes of glass need replacing.

The total cost of repairing/replacing the broken panes is £1378.00.
Each pane of glass will cost approx. £26 to put right.

I am seeking local companies/family's/individuals, in fact anyone, who would like to sponsor a window to help get the windows back to somewhere near their original best.

Please contact Chris Greenwood (Church Warden) if you feel you can help in anyway.
